I think we can all agree that 2020 presented some truly unexpected challenges. But the year also proved that Overture International donors are generous, engaged and interested in investing in building a stronger Haiti. As we reflect back on this past year, we are truly humbled by your compassion and we are thrilled to share with you exactly how we put your donations to work! This, my friends, is the work that YOU made possible. This is your compassion REALIZED!
Thanks to our community of donors and supporters, we did not let the challenges of last year hold us back from undertaking big initiatives, including the divinely orchestrated opportunity to bring ESPWA into the Overture mission. We knew this was not going to be an easy task, but through faith, perseverance and YOUR help, we were able to accomplish more in six short months than we ever imagined. We are honored and humbled by your trust and partnership in our journey to make HAITI STRONG!
Making Haiti Strong means strengthening the homes of struggling families. It means offering hope to communities where it may seem hopeless. With your help, we are bringing opportunities for progress because we know that change will only occur when families are strong, and communities have the resources they need to not just survive but to thrive.
While all this work is making a significant impact, there is still a great deal left to do. We know our vision is bold, but we also know all things are possible through Christ who strengthens us (Phil. 4:13)!
