Rose's Family lives in Codio, a community in the commune of Torbeck

Rose is a single mother of two children living in Codio, a community in the commune of Torbeck. She is also responsible for five of her nieces and nephews with three other adults living in the home. She makes sure that all the children go to school, but she is unable to provide the school supplies and daily food to the children because she doesn’t have a stable economic activity. The family is at a high risk of separation because their home was destroyed in the August 2021 earthquake.

Essential services through our Social Support Model will help this family rebuild their home and empowerment of training and counseling will bring confidence and hope for this family and prevent separation.
