Lamante's Family lives in Chaveneau, a community in the commune of Chantal

Lamante and her family live in the community of Chaveneau. She is the mother of 3 children and has 3 grandchildren. She has lived in extreme poverty her whole life, the same as her parents and the generations before. This family has separated in an effort to fine the mere basic needs to survive. Her son FanFan has remained at home while the other children and grandchildren are living in Port-au-Prince working in domesticity. The August 14, 2021, earthquake has put this family in despair by destroying their house and causing the family to separate. We can reunite this family by helping Lamante rebuild her house. But this is just the first step! We will continue to support this family through the essential services offered in our Social Support Model.
