Jean's Family lives in Dory, a community in the commune of Maniche

Jean and Mickerlange are the parents of six children and live in Dory, a community in the commune of Manich. They are not able to provide the basic needs of their children because of extreme poverty. Some days they do not even have enough to provide one meal. The earthquake in August 2021 made their situation worse by destroying their home and is not living under tarps. At night, the parents sleep outside because there is not enough space under the tarps for eight people. Helping this family build a new home will also provide them to services through our Social Support Model that can help them to develop socially and economically. Ultimately, turning despair into hope and joy!
