Denisson's Family lives in Garrett, a community in the commune of Camp Perrin

Denisson Ciceron, age 8, lives with his grandmother Celimene and his uncle Luckson in the community of Garatte. Both of his parents passed away when he was young. This family’s situation was already difficult socially and economically before the earthquake of August 14, 2021. The earthquake caused them to lose their home and injuries during this disastrous day resulted in the amputation of Denisson’s right foot. Helping this family build a new home will only be the first step in our commitment to helping this family grow stronger and self-sufficient. We will continue to support them with social support, healthcare, counseling and business training.
