Frank Irr

Mission Advancement & Stewardship


Frank serves in the role of Strategic Advisor for Mission Advancement and Stewardship for Overture International and is a member of the Pwojè Espwa Sud (ESPWA) Board in Haiti. He most recently served as Executive Director, Free the Kids in its oversight and fundraising role for ESPWA (November 2016-May 2020).  


During his tenure, he presided over ESPWA’s transition from orphanage to child development and family preservation day center and recast ESPWA as an invaluable partner with Haiti’s child protection agencies.  Committed to serving in the best interest of children and families, Frank is a long-time donor and an ardent believer in ESPWA’s ministry to the world’s poorest and most vulnerable population.


As a 20-year veteran of the U.S. Coast Guard, Frank served in operational, executive and command positions.  He ended his military career as Head of the Coast Guard’s Leadership Development Center and coupled with his ongoing role as Managing Senior Partner of AIM Consulting Associates, LLC, has more than 35 years of experience leading high performing organizations. He has over two decades working internationally and in developing countries and is known for his practical, multi-disciplinary business management and professional development capabilities.  He is dedicated to improving performance and strategic outcomes of his and his clients’ organizations, with transparency and integrity.


Frank loves visiting with his three grandchildren, playing the guitar and woodworking.  He lives in Connecticut with his wife, Kathy, of over 39 years and has two married sons and two exceptional daughters-in-law.
