Cameron is a Co-founder of Overture Outreach International (Overture) and serves as Overture’s Sustainability Officer. Cameron assures all programs and projects are aligned with sustainable development goals. In addition to his current role with Overture, Cameron serves in Haiti as a Project Engineer ensuring all community development projects are well planned and implemented.
A farmer and landscape designer by trade, Cameron has been working part time in Haiti since 2012. His passion is to introduce and support economic opportunities for impoverished Haitians through innovative solutions.
Cameron was one of the first responders after Hurricane Matthew destroyed most of the Southern Department in Haiti. Cameron engineered and managed projects that cumulatively yielded over $2M in new construction. Construction projects included community homes, dome houses, dome sanitation facilities, and restoration of buildings, power and solar systems, water resources, and much more.
Cameron holds a degree in Horticulture, Landscape Design and Construction, Certified in Tropical Agricultural Development (ECHO), training for the use of solar power in subsistence agricultural development, and has owned and operated a landscape design business, Divine Designs International, in Pagosa Springs, CO, USA since 2012.
